It's Cold and Snowy!

Hello Crafters!

The temperatures have dropped, there is snow on the ground... it's a crafter's perfect time of the year! We can lock ourselves in our sewing rooms and no one will say a word. There is nothing like the heat of your sewing machine! This is a cute little project we've been working on, and of course, we have the kits in the store!

We've been busy little bees at AnnaLouisa's! We had a wonderful turnout for our Annual December Open House. Thank you again to all who joined us and to all of our patrons for supporting us throughout the year. AnnaLouisa's NeedleArts is proud to serve you!

We've also had lots of canned goods turned in for our food drive! You still have until this Saturday, December 11th, to turn in non-perishables for a discount.

This Thursday is our Rug Hooking/Punchneedle Group from 5:00 to 7:30p. If you haven't stopped in before, you should join us, we always have a wonderful time!

December Open House/Food Drive

It has been a busy couple of months at AnnaLouisa's, and we haven't been doing a very good job updating our blog... oops!
Hopefully this will be the start of updating more!

The shop is all decorated for Christmas, and it's beautiful! You'll definitely want to stop in on Saturday, December 4th, for our Annual December Open House. We'll have specials throughout the store, door prizes, and yummy refreshment by our very own "Caterer" Maren! We always have fun, and it would be a great time to get gifts for all the quilters on your Holiday list!

AnnaLouisa's is also holding a food drive to benefit the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank. Stop in November 29 through December 13 to donate non-perishable items. Each item you bring in will equal 1% off of your entire purchase, up to 10%*! Let's all do our part to help Fight Hunger in Northeast Ohio!

*Not valid with any other coupons or offers.

We hope to see you in the shop many times over the next few weeks! And don't forget to follow us on facebook as well!

Block of the Month

We are releasing our new block of the month this week!

Our civil war fabric is Gettysburg VIII and our floral fabric is Robyn Pandolph's Rue Saint Germain. They are both beautiful fabrics.

You can choose to do the BOM in 12 blocks for $35 or 16 blocks for $40. They are still the precut blocks, so it's perfect for a beginner or an experienced sewer who wants to get a project done quickly!

And check out our wool block of the month:

It's going to be a primitive quilt. The next block is complete, and it is BEAUTIFUL, if I do say so myself! Stop in and check it out!

Hello 2010!

Happy New Year!

AnnaLouisa's is so excited for 2010, we have lots of wonderful things planned for you guys! And what a great way to start out 2010, with a new Civil War Block of the Month!

We've started our classes up again and have some beautiful Valentine's Day projects that would be quick to finish to brighten up your home this February.

We've added a policy for classes. You must sign up at least 3 days prior to the class to be able to take it. If no one has signed up by then we will cancel the class, so make sure that you sign up early! This does not apply for our groups that meet monthly.

Don't forget to call the shop before you come out when the weather is poor. We may not be open, and would want to save you a trip!

We look forward to seeing you this month!
